Fight in the Fog

"29th June, 1944. It was pouring with rain and on the rounded perspex of my cockpit flowed a thousand rivulets that seemed to appear from nowhere. Under the pressure of the air the water infiltrated through the cracks and collected in small streams which ran on either side of the sight and landed on my knees." - The chapter "Fight in the Fog" of Pierre Clostermanns book 'The Big Show' pictures vividly the desperate fight of Clostermann alone against Fw 190s in the worst weather, which I tried to reflect in this picture. Hope you like it.
