30/31 March 1944, Nuremberg Raid. At the beginning of the Long Leg Hauptmann Martin Drewes in his Bf 110 shoot down the first Lancaster (LM425 BQ-N of 550 Squadron) to be shot down by fighters that night. The Nuremberg raid became the most costly raid by the RAF loosing 95 aircraft that night and was considered a failure haven't done much damage to Nuremberg.
Many thanks to Gareth Hector for all his suggestions who helped me a lot with the lighting of this night scene. I learned a lot from it.
Bf 110 model by Gareth Hector. Lancaster bomber from turbosquid, textures, materials and scene by me. Hope you like it!
