Liberators Close by

B-24D Liberators of 389th BG, 2nd Bomb Division battling their way through German fighters late 1943. B-24 model by Gareth Hector. Bf109 model purchased. Materials, scene and illustration by me. Hope you like it!
"The Little Gramper" flew the 1st Aug 43 Ploesti oil refinery raid (which is displayed by the horizontal bomb sign) returning safely to Libya. Afterwards they returned to England conducting bombing mission above Germany.
