Wild Boar at Day

12 September 1944, Fw 190s of II.(Sturm)/JG300 attacked B-17 Flying Fortresses of the 493rd BG leaving Magedburg after their bombing run. Combined with a frontal attack by Bf 109s of III./JG53 cost the 493rd eight B-17s that day. Lt. Klaus Bretschneider in his 'Rauhbautz* followed by his wingman Uffz. Erhardt in his 'Pimpf'.
